I need more hours in the day haha!<br />

I used Spellbinders A2 Divine Eleoquence and Fancy Framed Framed Tags One. The sentiment is from House of Mouse, Mice Wishes by Stampendous and is stamped with Archival Jet Black ink. The string is from Hemptique.<br />

I wanted to keep the card pretty clean and simple.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I made two cards very quickly.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTz4lOacfnnHwlnjLhNcQjKVa8S43LXHgacg_eL5N_w_7BkNl5Pk0JwkvVu6RgDf9tCJY9Hif7k5JW8Pir_95Hs7DkygtC1HLjDfDVZrW4SnYUcUYLNyN0fhSPDdT7CTa137lt6ODpKDM/s1600/IMAG1536_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTz4lOacfnnHwlnjLhNcQjKVa8S43LXHgacg_eL5N_w_7BkNl5Pk0JwkvVu6RgDf9tCJY9Hif7k5JW8Pir_95Hs7DkygtC1HLjDfDVZrW4SnYUcUYLNyN0fhSPDdT7CTa137lt6ODpKDM/s320/IMAG1536_1.jpg" width="232" /></a></div>
<br />
I rounded the corners with my WRMK Corner Chomper and mounted the panel on an Xcut die cut. I stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts Birthday Sayings in Archival Jet Black ink.<br />
Thanks for taking the time to look!<br />

I made my own banner and used a combination of Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral to get close to my flower colour.<br />
<br />

Still not that confident with full flowers though but I will keep practicing!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I used a spellbinders die, a tonne of Kooltak clear foam tape chopped into itty bitty bits behind every round part of the die and the corners (that took a while) and a Valentines Day die that I bought in a Facebook group that's unbranded.<br />
Thank<br />

I got some Brushos for christmas and had played around with them . . . a lot lol. Anyway I loved the amount of colours in the leaf green one so just made a panel of that and thought hmm wonder what the KaiserCraft stamp and cuts I got for Christmas would look like on that. As a result the precut leaves were sitting on my desk and I thought why not. I cut the branch up and used them as my leaves for this flower. They are stamped with Archival ink.<br />

I was quite surprised how well this turned out on the cheaper paper. I was able to lift colours with no problems like I've had on some other papers. This was my first attempt so wanted to try on something other than my expensive papers to start lol.<br />

I am however a lot happier with how this one turned out :) Layer one.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Hey again, I really love this technique, it's so quick and easy. I know I overwork mine but I still love how they turned out. This is all done using a simple brush stroke and a round brush!<br />
<br />
I used Prima Bloom Watercolour paper, #12 Plaid One Stroke Round Brush, and Royal Langnickel tubes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8KX8OSmOjCMdRp6hKz9hlRhw37AoSb8_W7681QEgeTQx6Uw5R9lEpvOkeFUOY0YcavlADDWOXbgn9XFhiAZq0lKrqRejlXVfNSwoe0CBc0CyIr3RmCcp-DMXvZqEd34qor5DO3EGKTtA/s1600/IMAG1485_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8KX8OSmOjCMdRp6hKz9hlRhw37AoSb8_W7681QEgeTQx6Uw5R9lEpvOkeFUOY0YcavlADDWOXbgn9XFhiAZq0lKrqRejlXVfNSwoe0CBc0CyIr3RmCcp-DMXvZqEd34qor5DO3EGKTtA/s320/IMAG1485_1.jpg" width="191" /></a></div>
<br />
For this one I used the Windsor & Newton Cotman watercolours.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij1eSZCelVfjAWeCMGuLYFvhsuZyc0STHXUzp9ZmGDX8jasbLuFP94-G5-DnfstyN5gNHz04RCW9Jo5FGQ7CNN1WlITcdcYvT6p-6ikk2mgPaBD07RH1nPQnL8jSwGuZsc295_SdFC-YA/s1600/IMAG1488_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEij1eSZCelVfjAWeCMGuLYFvhsuZyc0STHXUzp9ZmGDX8jasbLuFP94-G5-DnfstyN5gNHz04RCW9Jo5FGQ7CNN1WlITcdcYvT6p-6ikk2mgPaBD07RH1nPQnL8jSwGuZsc295_SdFC-YA/s320/IMAG1488_1.jpg" width="188" /></a></div>

But really that's ok. The classes were jam packed full of so much information and technique I couldn't keep up! Especially as it wasn't until the end of the week that I managed to snag some Arches Cold Pressed 300gsm paper and I am eagerly awaiting my Saunders Waterford block. I have done what I can with the papers I have but it's been a challenge. I haven't been able to keep papers wet for some techniques. As I keep saying plaid brushes haven't been the best for these techniques either and well I am noticing that in class if you dry a wash it shouldn't lft when you go over it... Well it does if your paint is student grade! lol Here is my practice sheet on Monte Marte 180gsm.<br />
<br />

Hi, I know, tonnes of posts all at once... Sorry lol. I am using my phone net to do most of this so hope I don't go over haha! Extra big bill... So again I don't have the right paper for this technique and am still using Plaid One Stroke brushes that honestly just don't cut it for these types of techniques. For the following lifting attempts I used Rangers watercolour paper and I'm not 100% sure which watercolours set lol. Attempt one.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQaPB_kf3GrOQKF7PzqNQXPyxXXCDj-JjpWwmCHTp3lmNX1H-0J3NDeaZV2uCcoCAzDMxtayHRbEuGZRH5cEcnQL9H4r5jlc4kjVg0lbxTygxYiai4Z-C8_pYo1nPVvTyM4DADyipJLLc/s1600/IMAG0308_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQaPB_kf3GrOQKF7PzqNQXPyxXXCDj-JjpWwmCHTp3lmNX1H-0J3NDeaZV2uCcoCAzDMxtayHRbEuGZRH5cEcnQL9H4r5jlc4kjVg0lbxTygxYiai4Z-C8_pYo1nPVvTyM4DADyipJLLc/s320/IMAG0308_1.jpg" width="305" /></a></div>
<br />
Attempt two.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfS7m4GmILV0aXatnWsnuYijECLtt7v2ojQfuOemnoeGrPrC2RDIPDM4llYg2Nl2y7pU6PUC9c8GWbYLsnf-Zoe_vfE_qvsiejT0oiZVQj_of5YeI1wiP3IAOW6l0HsxKEqt-rvNjKE_Q/s1600/IMAG1455_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="250" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfS7m4GmILV0aXatnWsnuYijECLtt7v2ojQfuOemnoeGrPrC2RDIPDM4llYg2Nl2y7pU6PUC9c8GWbYLsnf-Zoe_vfE_qvsiejT0oiZVQj_of5YeI1wiP3IAOW6l0HsxKEqt-rvNjKE_Q/s320/IMAG1455_1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I really am seeing how paper and brushes play a big part in these techniques! Attempt three<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU0MBJ6SnCIGm-wZwSEMnfprrZKfPU9gEId_8fTecYM-a9QfD82jZQlYFMSDMIe1SsMXaEuOShbP3DxilaOArDMA5x5fKWFMTXi20QSpWQWPJWNFhv_KMprnR4WJzdFsbel8-m2h6ugbE/s1600/IMAG1459_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhU0MBJ6SnCIGm-wZwSEMnfprrZKfPU9gEId_8fTecYM-a9QfD82jZQlYFMSDMIe1SsMXaEuOShbP3DxilaOArDMA5x5fKWFMTXi20QSpWQWPJWNFhv_KMprnR4WJzdFsbel8-m2h6ugbE/s320/IMAG1459_1.jpg" width="218" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Hopefully I'm improving! Still struggling with leaves but I think better brushes will help!<br />

I am hoping somewhere in the near future I can rewdo it with a lighter was and also make sure my layers are dry between colours. I was a little impatient ;)<br />

<br />
I used Arches Cold Pressed 300gsm paper with Windsor & Newton Cotman pans. The stamp is from Docrafts Creative Essentials and is called butterflies embossed with white Hampton Arts embossing powder.<br />

There are a few reasons. First I don't have the right paper (this one is coming), secondly the papers I do have dry super fast which thirdly could be from how hot it is in Australia lol. Also I am using Plaid One Stroke brushes as that's all I have in a big size... While they look like roses they are not soft and pretty like they should be... This is attempts one and two.<br />
<br />
