Watercolor For Cardmakers Intermediate Day Three - Lifting Card Three

Hi, this is my third card from the lifting class, I have one more panel but I think I want to maybe frame and keep that one...

I used some string from my stash, Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags One and Archival Jet Black ink to stamp the saying from Hero Arts Birthday Sayings.
Thanks for looking.

Watercolor For Cardmakers Intermediate Day Six - Dipped Florals Card

These are the quick and easy flowers Jenifer showed us on the last day of class. I wanted to keep the card pretty clean and simple.

I made two cards very quickly.

I rounded the corners with my WRMK Corner Chomper and mounted the panel on an Xcut die cut. I stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts Birthday Sayings in Archival Jet Black ink.
Thanks for taking the time to look!

Watercolor For Cardmakers Intermediate Day 2 - Wet on Dry Roses Card

This was my third attempt at the rose on not so great paper, I've since tried again with better results on artist grade paper :)

I used Hemtique bakers twine, Spellbinders Fancy Framed Tags One and Wilted Violet Distress Ink with a Hero Arts sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by.

Watercolor For Cardmakers Intermediate Day Two - Simple Round Brush Flowers Card

I still love how quick and easy these flowers are! I tuned this mini panel into a mini Thank You card.

I used a Spellbinders die to make the panel prettier, a Heo Arts sentiment and Donna Salazar Colorbox ink in Patina. I freehand cut the banner :)
Thanks for looking.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Combo Card

Hiya, for this card from Stretch Your Stamps 2 at Online Card Classes I used a combination of Techniques from two differtent cards. I used From the creator as well as a little paper piecing.

For this card I used stamps from Fiskars (alphabet), TPC Studio (elephant), Hero Arts (greeting) and See Dee's (balloons) with Archival ink and Dylusions as well as Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade and Pumice Stone. Really need practice doing these, guess I am using too much water, but it's kind of sweet :)

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Water Painting

Hiya, still on day 6 of Stretch Your Stamps 2 at Online Card Classes and I again chose this lovely Mpress stamp set. I used Hero Arts white embossing powder, Distress Inks in Seedles Preserves, Mustard Seed, Festive Berries and Ripe Persimmon, a waterbrush, sentiment from TPC Studio and a corner rounder to add some interest.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Over The Edge

So I am at the mid point, Day 6 of Stretch Yours Stamps 2 at Online Card Classes. I tried using this Mpress stamp for another technique but there wasn't enough open space for colouring. It looks great for this technique though :) I used Hero Arts white embossing powder, Distress Inks in Seedless Preserves, Festive Berries, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed and a brown which I cannot remember lol. I need to start taking notes as I create! I died some white grosgrain with the distress inks to match and used staples to attach to the tag. The background is stamped with the same colours of ink stamped off so its barely there, using a Cherry Blossom stamp from Fiskars.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Multi Coloured Embossing

Onto day five of Stretch Your Stamps 2 at Online Card Classes. For this card I used Embossing powders I got a very long time ago in tiny little vials from Spotlight. Unfortunately the red has a tendency to soak into cardstock but I don't have another red in that deep shade so I used it anyway lol. I used Spelbinder Gold Labels Four, Hemptique Black Twine, Herot Arts White Embossing Powder, Hampton Art Footlong Thank You stamps, a corner rounder and my Ebosser for die cutting.

Still on day 2 of Stretch Your Stamps 2 at Online Card Classes. This card uses resist with paint but my paint wasn't cutting the mustard so I switched to embossing powder. I used Hero Arts embossing powder, Dried Marigold Distress ink, versamark, spellbinders In'Spire die, Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Scalloped Hearts, A bunch of hearts within a heart die that I can't remember the name of off the top of my head :( and Glossy Accents. At 3-4 cards a day I'm fallig well behind but I have loads more to post :)

Stertch Your Stamps 2 Colouring and Tiling (not so much...)

So I don't have a background stamp suited to this colouring technique so I decided to go in a whole different direction. I took a stamp set I had recieved free with a magazine and paired it with Hampton Arts Clear Expression stamp set Beach Bum.
This technique is from day 2 of Stretch Your Stamps at Online Card Classes. As you can see I used fussy cutting instead of tiling . . . Hey whatever works, right?

Today I also used Gelatos in the following colours, Black Licorice, Blueberry, Butter Cream, Butterscotch, Margarita Mix, Metallic Blueberry, Metallic Grape, Metallic Melon, Metallic Mint, Red Cherry and Snow Cone. Phew that's a lot of colours lol. I also used Hero Arts White embossing powder, an embossing buddy and the Stampin' Up blender pen. I think I'd like to try the Dove one though as my Stampin' Up ones are almost dry I think.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Ombre Effects

Onto day 2 of Stretch Your Stamps 2 at Online Card Classes and today we are doing a little ombre. I used watercolour for this but you can use any colour medium. I used Windsor & Newton Cotman watercolours in turquoise. The background stamp is from Fiskars, white embossing powder from Hero Arts, a Spellbinders die cut in my Ebosser and the sentiment is from Kaisercraft.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Mist Resist

This background is so sparkly! Think I got a little too happy with Mr Huey's gold mist lol. Still on day 1 of SYS2 at Online Card Classes. The background stamp is Floral Background from Stampin' Up used with Hero Arts Seafoam embossing powder. I used spellbinders dies for the die cut piece and the sentiment. I used Ranger Gold Embossing powder on the sentiment too.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Multi Layer Emboss Resist Part 3 Bonus

I couldn't waste this lovely piece I had left over from Stretch You Stamps 2 over at Online Card Classes so I decided to turn it into a card too. I added some Prima flowers and a bling brad to give the card a lift. The cardstock I chose for the card base fits right in between the orange and yellow mixing :)

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Multi Layer Emboss Resist Part 2

Hiya, I am doing Stretch Your Stamps 2 over at Online Card Classes, it's running right now if you want to join in. The beauty of these clsses though is that you can do them whenever you want :) This card uses all the same products as the last one so I won't repost them here. The only difference is the die is from mpress and I've added glossy accents over the top and scattered some sequins about the place lol

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Multi Layer Emboss Resist Part 1

Hi, well I am really into Online Card Classes right now and am currently doing Stretch Your Stamps 2. This is my first card for day 1. Yeah I'm a bit slack on the  posting front but get ready for a tonne of posts! lol.

I used Hero Arts Seafoam embossing powder, Windsor & Newton Cotman watercolours, watercolour paper, the background stamp and the letters for "to you" are from Fiskars stamp sets and the die was a freebie from a magazine :) Free stuff is good!

Hero Arts Watercolor Petals With Distress Markers

Hiya, I am doing classes at Online Card classes atm and one is Water Color For Card Makers, that link will take you to the main page. If you are interested in their classes right this very minute they have $5 off til the end of the weekend in the US. I bought a whole bunch lol.

For this card I used the Hero Arts Watercolor Petals with Distress Markers in Aged Mahogany, Victorian Velvet, Spiced Marmalade, peeled paint and I think Pine Needles. I created the border after I stamped (the opposite of what I was supposed to do and not with the right technique as I didn't have what I needed on hand) with some leftover Windsor $ Newton Cotman watercolours. The sentiments are from different stamp sets and when I find them I will let you know, they are stamped with stazon.
