This is my first attempt at this Technique on Saunders Waterford cold pressed 300gsm paper.
I also used Windsor & Newton Cotman watercolours and Plaid One Stroke and Semco brushes as well as the same stamp used in class with Stampin' Up ink.

A Little Leafy With Cloud 9 and Archival
Hiya everyone, This month at Ecclectic Ellapu the Purple teams theme is Leaves/Foliage. I have had this great stamp set from Cloud 9, called Leaves, for years and it was still brand new in it's packet lol. So basically as you can see I stamped a pretty much random scattering of leaves about using Archival Inks in Viridian, Potting Soil, Library Green, Watering Can, Plum and Leaf Green. It doesn't show to well in the pic but I didn't clean my stamps in between each colour which in some cases made whole new colours and in others gave a nice mottled effect.
I used a Spellbinders Lacey Square die for my sentiment which is from Inkadinkado's Expessions set. I added some more leaves around the words and mounted the die cut with foam tape for some dimension. A nice easy one this time... Stay tuned though because I also have another more feminine card featuring one of my all time favourite stamp sets :)

A Little Dylisions Goes A Long Way
So what happens when you spill Calypso Teal Dylusions over your almost finished project? lol. That's what happened to me here . . . I tried to tip some back into the bottle and made an even bigger mess on my floor as well. Thank you Ultra Clean stamp cleaner for getting it off the lino.
I have to say the Ranger/Tim Holtz watercolour paper is the best I have tried. Love love love it. I used some paper towel to blot off the puddle of dylusions and now if I hadn't told you you wouldn't know it was a huge oopsie! The paper can really take a lot of water without breaking down and pilling.
The flowers and elephant are stamped with Archival ink. The flowers are coloured with Dylusions and Glimmer mist. The elephant is coloured with Copics and a lil Atyou Spica for some extra sparkle :) He is also paper pieces to add some dimension.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Water Painting
Hiya, still on day 6 of Stretch Your Stamps 2 at Online Card Classes and I again chose this lovely Mpress stamp set. I used Hero Arts white embossing powder, Distress Inks in Seedles Preserves, Mustard Seed, Festive Berries and Ripe Persimmon, a waterbrush, sentiment from TPC Studio and a corner rounder to add some interest.

Stretch Your Stamps 2 Easy Watercolour Outline and Debossing
So we are at my second card from day 5 of Stretch Your Stamps 2 at Online Card Classes and I have chosen to use an Mpress stamp set, same flower again I know lol. It looks good what can I say? I used Distress inks in Pine Needles and Aged Mahogany for the flower and Tumbled Glass for the border. I have used some Hemtique Twine and a Buttuerfly border punch I have for the itty butterflys. Really need to start writing on my dies what brand they are . . . I coloured the butterflys with Aged Mahogany so they tied in with the flower and sentiment from Whimsy Stamps.

Special 200th Blog Post Mini Easel Card With Drawer Featuring Candy Lane
So for my 200th blog post I thought I would have a break from SYS2 and post my Daughters 11th birthday card. As you can see it has a bit of a twist. It's an Easel box card so that you can put whatever you want in the little drawer that comes out. Here is a link to the youtube vid I watched to show me how to do this. I used two colours however because that's what miss 11 wanted lol.
I used KaiserCrafts Candly Lane 6" paper pad for this card 'cause if you can't tell . . . my daughters favourite colour is hot pink lol. I also used dies from Spellbinders and Lifestyle crafts as well as archival ink for the sentiment and prima flowers nd some resin floers from Ebay.
For the foam insode I just used some that came in something new once upon time. I have a box full of this stuff just for that purpose. She also got a ring and bracelet in this so I cut slots using my Tim Holtz Scissors and my Prima Knife.

A Very CAS Birthday With Gelatos
Hi everyone :) Still having computer issues and well to be honest issues with the freezing winter we are having in Aus this year. It's that time again though and this time for the Purples it's ANYTHING GOES at Eclectic Ellapu. Sorry for the glare on my card but I forgot to take a pic before I packaged it up to sell lol.
This was a very easy card to make. Basically I stamped my image straight on to 300gsm white cs that is made so you can work right on it. I got it from a craft show I went to last year and I'm hoping when I go back in November that they have more. I coloured using Faber-Castell Gelatos I used with a waterbrush straight from the tubes so I could get the intense colour. I made sure not to use too much water so the cs wouldn't warp and the colour wouldn't bleed through.
I went around the edge of the card with blue and smudged it with my finger and then did the same with a Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers Label with a pink gelato. I used foam tape to raise the label for a little dimension. As you can see this was a nice quick card to make and I was trying out another CAS idea. I'm getting there I think lol.
Thanks for stopping by

Large Flower Background And Flutter Trees
Hiya, long time no talk . . . My cat really did it this time :( She knocked a pretty big cup full of water all over my laptop and while it still works not all the keys work properly lol. So I have to use a combination of laptop and tablet to do a post and well most days it's just too much work lol. Anyways the challenge at Eclectic Ellapu for the Purples this time is Birthdays with Butterflies. If You didn't guess I picked that one ;) Not many pics this week as that's just too much work switching constantly between pad n lappy lol.
So because I just got my Inktense pencils and some new spellbinders dies I thought I would combine the two. The dies I used are In'spire Celebration and Flutter Tree D'lites. For a full list of suplies look in the labels. The copious amounts of cutting were done in my Ebosser.
1. Cut 6 sets of trees, butterflies and sentiments from plain cs
2. Stamp background and then position tree and sentiment, die cut
3. Colour the background with a watercolour medium ( I used my new inktense set squeal), I hadnt kept my middle tree pieces but I decided the finished card needed them and went a hunting lol. Next time I will make sure to colour these at the same time too.
4. Glue the 6 trees together plus the stamped tree, glue 3 sentiments plus the stamped one together.
5. Once you have trimmed your background cut a card base to measure and then go over the edges of the base and background with white Adirondack Paint Dabber
6. Adhere background to base and then add the tree and sentiment.
7. The butterfly dies join two together at a time so what I did for these was turn my stamp stamp side up and work out roughly where I wanted the butterflies and pressed them onto the stamp then matched up the lines on the background.
The inspiration for this card came from one Jennifer McGuire posted on her blog a few months ago. She only used a sentiment but I thought this is so cool it could work with anything :)

Distress Paints and Cabbage Roses CAS Style
Hiya Just a quick one today :D This is a card I made for someone who wanted some nice simple Thank You cards. The card started with me playing with the first set of Distress Paints when I got my hot li'l hand on them (the rest of the collection should be winging its way across the seas as I write this!) and doing some practicing on a craft tag. I used a Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous flourish stamp all over the tag with Picket Fence Distress Paint. I had used the tag for something else and had about half left so I got the idea to use it up. I admit I have a box full of "Creative Play" type things I need to start using more and this project was perfect for one.
Something I don't do very often is go CAS, what can I say I like to add things lol. But all I had was half a tag and a vague idea. If you know me, you know I love butterflies, so out came some butterfly dies. I chose the smallest from Spellbinders Nested Butterflies Two and Lifestyle Crafts Nested Butterflies and cut a few from my tag.
I then grabbed Tim Holtz' Movers and Shapers Tickets die and what was left of my tag and cut the smallest ticket for my sentiment. For the background I used white cs and the Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Cabbage Roses. I also did something I haven't done before which is to stamp a split type sentiment. I stamped just a note on the front and then on the inside to say thank you with archival ink. I finished it off by adding a bunch of baby pearls.

My First Finished Mini Album Part 4
Soooo I have been computerless for a few weeks thanks to my cat knocking my laptop down . . . Why do they love to sleep on keyboards, even when you are not using it? Lol. So that's why it's been oh so quiet here. But I'm back and all fixed :)
Ok so I still have quite a bit more to post of the mini so here we go :)
Lifestyle Crafts Corners and alphabet dies are used for accents on this page.
I have used Thickers, Bella stickers, more pearls, a pearl brad and an Idea'ology crown from Time Holtz for this little books cover. To close I used some Hemptique white hemp cord coloured with Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick.
Just a Little Marylyn :)
This is a smaller trifold flip out panel decorated with Prima flowers, brads lifestyle crafts dies and ribbon.
My youngest loved the wobble board. I forgot to take a pic of the other side though. OOPS!
So we are three more pages through :) about halfway I should think.

A Little Gelato Love with Fleur Botanique
I coloured the background using gelatos like a watercolour. The flowers are done in Guava and Bubblegum for the pink and Lavender and Grape for the purple. The leaves are Pistachio, Green Tea and Lime and the background is Metallic Mint.
I used a spellbinders nested scallop die for the next layer, for the pp I used a lavender gelato wash to give it a hint of purple and then I cut a white square to mat it all on before adding it to my pink star dream card base.
I then stamped some butterflys in archival ink and water coloured them with the gelatos. I couldn't decide if I wanted to stamp them with black or coloured archival, so I did both and then chose the black ones :)
I took some white I Am Roses and coloured them with the gelatos to match the flowers in the background. The colours came out much darker on the flowers though lol. I misted them with homemade shimmer mist for some sparkle.
Finally I used a Tattered Banner by Tim Holtz to add my sentiment which was actually part of a journal block and coloured just the part I wanted with Black Soot Distress Marker. I added some Guava Gelato to the edges and smudged it with my finger.

Revisiting My Butterfly Canvas
Ok so last year I did a post Here about a butterfly canvas... What most people didn't know was that I wasn't wholly happy with it and the butterflies and bling weren't stuck down! lol. I had known all along I was going to give it to my friend for her birthday which was last week. So yep, you guessed it, I pulled it back out again and set to work
I added a stencilled border around the outside with Royal Purple Stazon and Tim Holtz' Honeycomb stencil, changed the lighter butterflies bling to a pale pink as well as the antennae and blinged out the background for a more finished look!
Hope you enjoyed the revisit!

Die Versions Big Butterfly with a Little Distress and some MSE
Hi everyone, thought I would try and make a one layer card. I am not to good at the clean and simple look so I try and attempt a few CAS cards every now and then. Not sure if this one qualifies lol. This week it's the purple teams turn at Eclectic Ellapu and if you haven't guessed the theme is BLING or Sequins lol. We all know I love bling :)
For this Card I took the Die Versions Big Butterfly die and cut some scrap cs to make my own stencil/mask. I started with a white card base and some random Distress Ink pads (was at my friends so used a combination of what I'd taken and hers lol). As always all cutting is done with my ebosser :) I used my blending tool and randomly applied colours over the die cut. I had to hold the die cut down firmly to stop it from moving and change where I was holding it as I went so I didn't miss any spots. From top left I used, Festive Berries, Tumbled Glass, Versa Magic Spring Pansy, Evergreen Bough, Brushed Corduroy and Broken China.
I used a pair of tweezers I got from ebay to adhere my bling with Matte Accents. The tweezers are in the nail art section of ebay and only cost $1 for two pairs.
My daughter chose the colours of rhinestones I used. A beautiful aqua colour and a dark green. Again I got the bling from the nail art section super cheap.
I then added some stamping in Stazon Blazing Red and Forest Green. I used the MSE stamp set Thinking Of You. I added some more bling to the centre of the flowers in an orange colour. This card was super quick to make and is a good way to utilise your dies in another way! Not sure I like the finished result, I liked it much better before the addition of stamping! lol

Belles and Whistles Pen Friend With KaiserCrafts Candy Lane
First off, sorry for the not so good pic, think my lens was a bit smudgy :( all the pics I have for this card are like it, siiiigh . . . Any how this card was for a young lady I knows birthday. I let her pick the stamp and the main colour theme. The stamp is from Belles and Whistles and is called Pen Friend. I started by stamping the image onto Neenah Solar White cs as well as onto my marker pad so I could get an idea of colours that would work together.
And the I got to colouring with a bunch of Promarkers and Copics. As you can tell my lil friend loves hot pink, so does my daughter lol. I find it a challenge to work with so thank goodness for colour co-ordinated paper pads lol. I used the marker pad to help find a suitable blending family as you can see.
Lucky I did as the marker I used for the ribbon was extra juicy and a lil leaky lol. If I had used it right on my image I would have ruined it! I solved the problem by putting the fine tip on the promarker and using a very light stroke over the ribbons. I was very lucky when I took the tip off as ink went everywhere but on the image! lol
I went around the whole image with nice soft pink copics for a nice halo effect. Just so you can see how many colour I generally use on an image . . . Here ya go lol! Actually this bunch on the small side.
Next up I grabbed bunch of spellbinders dies and began cutting my layers with my Ebosser. I used Labels Four to cut my image, I used a Timeless Rectangles die on the pink layer and a Floral Ovals die on the teapot layer.
I used foam tape behind my image and the pink layer for dimension as you can see from the shadows in the pic.
I then took a Fiskars stamp and two Tim Holtz Tattered Banners from Sizzix and stamped the sentiment. To do this I carefully inked up the one line at a time so I could put one on each banner. I used a baby wipe very carefully to remove any excess if I got it on the line I wasn't using at the time.
I added foam tape under the banner so it was in line with my 2nd raised layer, cut another co-ordinating piece of pp for my background and stuck it all to my card base :)
Apologies again for the out of focus pics, hopefully I don't have any more like that! Anyhow time for me to get some shut eye so . . .

Kissed By an Angel with KaiserCrafts Made With Love
It's the Purple teams turn over on Eclectic Ellapu and this weeks theme is use a die cut heart. Mine ended up getting very hidden so I added some extras lol. I used a whole bunch of die companies on here . . . Hope there is no rule against mixing them up!
I started with KaiserCrafts Made With Love Collection (I snapped this up on clearance at a LSS), selecting the papers I wanted to use. I then did some colour matching with my Copics and Promarkers and stamped Connie Fongs Kissed By An Angel Sweet Pea stamp with Memento ink onto Neenah Solar White.
I then die cut the image and my first two layers using Spellbinders Ornate Artisan Tags and Accents. Now here is where I go into trouble as you will see in the pic. I hadn't actually crafted at home for a while and didn't realise my craft sheet wasn't totally clean :( As I edged my image with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink I swiped up some blue off my mat :( For the bottom layer I snipped off the long end pieces before I inked the edges as you can see in the pic. I used foam tape on under the image and double sided tape under the matting piece.
Next I die cut Lifestyle Crafts Heart Insert surrounded by a Nesting Lace Heart die from red foil cs. I saved all the little hearts for other projects as well as adding some to this one. I had to use the metal shim in my Ebosser to get this die to cut through the thick card stock. I glued the heart down with Matte Accents.
Next I used a Sizzix Sizzlit die called Ribbon Insert. My cat loves Sizzlis, if she sees one around she thinks it's fair game and claws it! Good thing they still work with claw marks in them :)Very hard paper to take a pic of! I inked the edges of this piece with Milled Lavender. I used foam tape on this layer as well.
To hide my mess I grabbed some I Am Roses flowers and coloured them with distress stains in Milled Lavender, Wild Honey, Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade and Barn door. I then spritzed them with homemade pearl mist (come on a girl's gotta have some sparkle, right?).
Next up I cut a piece of pp for the background and rounded the corners of the pp and the card base as well. I inked the edges of both with Milled Lavender and adhered the background with doublesided tape. I used matte accents to adhere my flowers and twizzles to the card as well as the cute lil hearts I saved from earlier.
Not totally sure how I feel about this one. I do know I think my colouring is coming along nicely :) Practice makes perfect right? Well till I kill it by swiping the wrong colours about the place! Flowers make everything better is becoming my motto I think . . .
Anyhow Happy Scrappin'
